Raisers' Ask is a strategic initiative to encourage voluntary organisations to communicate and generate support from the public. It is an online platform to enable organisations to communicate, raise funds and be accountable.

This platform will bring

• Case-studies/ experiences , from the experts and others
• Interactive on-line advice based on need and a schedule

The NEED

The voluntary sector has a responsibility to engage society. To do this a combination of new web and print skills are required.

The objectives

• Encourage professional fundraisers to share their experiences as blogs/ articles/ contributions.
• Encourage voluntary organisations to share their experiences in raising resources, include failure
• Encourage the readers to open discussion forums on the challenges faced by organisations in fundraising and seek solutions
• Facilitate fundraising by providing information on legal, technical and human resources.
